Brasstracks’ recent spree of songs has been nothing short of enjoyable leading up to their latest EP. They’ve done it again with a bright offering “Melanin Man” featuring soulful vocalist Masego in conjunction with the full Good Love EP.
The song takes a jazzy approach as the raw trumpeting is accompanied by slick keyboard melodies and high energy, hip-hop styled percussion. We've been impressed by Masego before on songs such as Goldlink's "Late Night" and he shines here over the playful instrumental with unbelievably slick singing. Melanin Man” is a pleasantly refreshing song following up other strong track off the EP including "Get Your Way", "Telling The Truth", and "Good Love". Enjoy!
