Ekali continues to prove to the electronic music world that he deserves to be placed among the top tier trap producers. The Canadian producer has made a name for himself already by being one of the most consistent artists within the genre, and his production seems to be getting better and better.
Ekali recently took to Twitter to share a sneak peek at an upcoming, never-before-heard track of his, and it’s wild. The track comes at the end of a brief video that details his wholesome experience at EDC. The forthcoming track is mixed out of Ekali’s well-known “Gemini” remix, and is in fact rumored to be a collaboration with heavy trap up-and-comers TYNAN and HEKLER (although we don’t know for sure).
We only get a brief preview of the unreleased tune, but we get a strong taste of forward thinking sound design, fierce, distorted growls, and of course, heavy 808s that will make you want to jump out of your chair. We don’t have any more details on the forthcoming track yet, but stay tuned for more information. Check out the preview below and enjoy!
