TSIS regular Louis Futon has worked magic with Anderson .Paak’s vocals yet again. He previously delivered a funky remix of Goldlink’s “Unique” featuring Anderson .Paak and this time he’s brought .Paak’s acapella XXL Freestyle to life.
.Paak’s original freestyle for XXL was done without a beat and came after landing a spot on their highly regarded 2016 Freshman Class. We're excited to premiere this new track as Louis stepped up the the plate in a big way offering his production abilities for a relaxing take on the .Paak freestyle, creating entirely new original production around the vocals sounding as if the two were in the studio together.
The added hip-hop percussion and soothing guitar combines to turn .Paak’s stellar performance into a complete song. What's even more impressive is there were no samples used in the song as Louis played all the instruments you hear in this standout version of the song. Louis will be heading out on tours with Big Gigantic and GRiZ this fall, see dates below. Enjoy!
