Bro Safari's latest release, "Reality", unveils a softer side to the producer while also retaining his artistry in the bass realm. The production quietly opens up to a textured sequence of heavenly layers that beautifully underlay Sarah Hudson's vocals. For those who are unfamiliar with the singer, she has co-written several hits including Katy Perry's "Dark Horse" and Iggy Azalea's "Black Widow" with Rita Ora. With respect to working with Hudson, Bro Safari says the following:
First off, I have to say that it was a treat to work with Sarah Hudson on "Reality." I've been a fan of her work for years, so I took it seriously, and I made a deliberate effort to create a song that feels as dynamic as possible. My hope is that people will appreciate the peaks and valleys that I tried to interject throughout the track. Ultimately, I wanted to create something that was melodic, heavy and uplifting at its core.
While the first minute of "Reality" encompasses an ambient atmosphere, bass-driven elements quickly build after into an growling, melodic dubstep drop. The natural dynamic between the soft and aggressive progressions is truly impressive. Take a listen below and let us know what you think. Enjoy!
